Aerial Lift and Bucket Truck Inspector
Before any bucket truck or aerial lift can be safely used to lift personnel, it must be properly inspected. Various OSHA & ANSI/ASME regulations and standards may apply as to the level of inspection and time frame inspections must be carried out. Inspectors must do much more than look the equipment over and apply a sticker on it as the owner of the equipment needs and wants a true and fair evaluation of the current condition of the equipment to determine if the aerial lift or bucket truck is safe for continued use.
CICB’s Aerial Lift and Bucket Truck Inspector Training programs are developed to enhance the knowledge of the equipment inspectors, operators or supervisors associated with the use of personnel lifting equipment such as manually propelled elevating aerial platforms, self-propelled elevating and boom supported elevating platforms.
Upon completion of the inspector course, the attendee will have received the information which is associated with technical knowledge, regulations and standards and procedures on how to conduct a quality safety inspection.
