Mobile Elevating Work Platform
Improper use of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (commonly known as Aerial Work Platform) can topple the machine, injure the operator, damage equipment, and endanger others nearby. Operation of any mobile elevated work platform should always be restricted only to those who are qualified, competent and designated as Mobile Elevated Work Platform Operators by the employer. In order to be qualified, employers should insist that operators have gone through training in the operation and the type of aerial work platform they will be operating and have successfully completed a written and practical examination.
CICB’s Mobile Elevating Work Platform Operator Training program is specifically designed to upgrade the existing knowledge and skill levels of experienced operators, trainees, safety personnel, maintenance personnel, inspectors, managers and supervisors in the care and safe operation of manually propelled elevating aerial platforms, boom supported elevating work platforms, and self-propelled elevating work platforms.
All personnel attending this one-day program will gain significant and useful skills and will leave with a stronger understanding and appreciation of the requirements and responsibilities of mobile elevated work platform operators. Specific types of platforms can be made available upon request for training and practical examinations.

What Past Attendees Say:
“Due to my desire to make a career change, and after exhaustive research, I contacted CICB for my training as a mobile crane operator. Not only did they offer a full curriculum of the training I desired, but also a NCCCO Preparatory Course and testing facility in my immediate area. In my 30+ years of working in the construction industry, I have taken many safety training courses from a myriad of professional trainers. It’s a rarity to find one that is not only knowledgeable in the subject matter, but enjoys being able to share that knowledge with others. I feel that CICB is one of these rare trainers.”
