Mobile Crane Inspector Certification Course

Certifying your inspectors to the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) standards strengthens your operation. Our CCO mobile crane inspector course covers all the necessary information involved with certification. We designed this three-day program to include topics like documentation, operational testing, load testing, and visual inspections.

The course balances in-field practice with interactive classroom exercises to effectively prepare experienced operators for successful certification. Interested applicants must fill out an Experience Form and receive approval from the NCCCO before starting our mobile crane inspector certification program.

Documentation is to include work history, relevant technical training, certifications, and accreditations. CICB’s Mobile Crane & Rigging Inspector Training Program satisfies the CCO requirement for crane inspector technical training.

Types of Equipment We Cover

At CICB, we understand the wide range of equipment professionals can use, differing in their operation and capabilities across various applications. Our subject matter experts are some of the finest professionals in the industry, using their expertise to develop training courses that address your unique needs. They will address best operating practices, strategies and techniques for the following types of cranes:

  • Fixed cab: This mobile crane is constructed with a non-rotational cab to focus on lifting and moving extreme loads that are directly in front of them.
  • Swing cab: Swing cabs allow operators to rotate 360 degrees, offering unrestricted visibility and a meaningful range of motion to tackle various projects.
  • Lattice boom crawler: Lattice boom crawlers get their name from the welded "W" pattern on their boom and are considered the largest and strongest crane used throughout construction applications.
