Boom Truck Operator Training

The Boom Truck Operator Training program is tailored to those who will specifically be operating boom trucks. Our mobile crane class is condensed into boom truck operation.

The information provided in the classroom is reinforced with hands-on sessions involving a boom truck crane at CICB’s Orlando/Houston training facilities or with your equipment at your site. Personnel attending this program will develop useful skills and leave with a stronger understanding of the requirements and responsibilities of Boom Truck Operators.

CICB’s Boom Truck Operator Training program is extensive and generally lasts between two and three days, depending on prior experience. Reaching out to a CICB representative is the best way to learn more about possible timelines for your organization.

Types of Cranes Covered

Our boom truck training program covers various boom truck types.

Hydraulic Boom Trucks

CICB reviews the correct practices for safely operating boom trucks with hydraulic functionality. Whether you belong to the construction, airline, utility, or aerospace sector, adequate training with hydraulic boom trucks is essential for productivity and preventing accidents. CICB instructors address the heavy lifting capabilities of hydraulic boom trucks, maneuverability, stabilization features, and controls to use equipment confidently.

Articulated Boom Trucks

Increase your team's productivity with training focused on the intricacies of articulated boom trucks. An articulated boom truck allows operators to adjust the boom arm at one or several different points. Construction teams depend on these trucks to maneuver through challenging project sites and reach areas that would otherwise be impossible to access. Individuals who complete the CICB boom truck operator training learn how to lift workers carefully and securely.
