NCCCO Crane Operator Training

Course Objective/Purpose: The NCCCO Preparatory Fast Track Mobile Crane seminar is classroom intensive, designed for experienced crane operators that require a national certification.  The seminar prepares the student for the NCCCO written examination; specifically, the core written exam plus one to four crane type specialty written exams.  Classroom instruction is provided on NCCCO criteria for certification; written and practical application is administered for load charts, rigging and signaling.  NCCCO Practical Exams are scheduled following the Written Exams.  Students passing the examinations become NCCCO nationally certified for one crane type opening employment opportunities in multiple industries.

Subject Hours:  19 Hours plus scheduled NCCCO Practical Exam

Prerequisites: Experienced Mobile Crane Operator. High school level basic math and reading/comprehension skills.

Subject Description: The CCOP-FTMC seminar is designed to prepare experienced operators for the NCCCO certification written exams for the core and one to four crane type specialty exams.

Upon successful completion of the seminar, the student will receive a CICB Certificate of Completion for the NCCCO Fast Track Preparatory Seminar and, directly from NCCCO, a Certified Crane Operator card.
