Do you offer classes in my particular area?
Yes, CICB offers regular open enrollment programs throughout the U.S.

 
2.
Does CICB offer on-site training?
Yes, CICB can provide training at your facility in the U.S. and worldwide.
 
3.

I have a piece of equipment not listed on your website training programs. Can CICB provide me training?
CICB can provide customized training programs on various pieces of equipment not listed. Please contact our sales department for further information.

 
4.
Can you license/qualify me as an operator?
CICB can train you in the knowledge and skills necessary to safely operate but only your employer can determine if you have the qualifications needed to operate.
 
5.
I have no experience as an operator. Can CICB train me?
CICB will certainly train candidates with little to no experience.
 
6.
How long is my competency card valid for?
CICB's competency cards are valid for 2 years.
 
7.
How often do I need refresher training?
CICB recommends refresher training every two years to keep up with current standards and regulations.
 
8.
I have completed and passed my training program. When can I expect to receive my certification?
From the time payment is received for services rendered, up to 15 business days.
 
9.
I lost my card. How can I get a replacement?
Contact CICB at 800-327-1386. Please make sure you have the following information: Company name, type of training you received and approximate date(s) of training.
10.
Can CICB train me to inspect my own equipment or other's equipment?
CICB offers various equipment inspector training programs and upon passing the course, you would be qualified to provide inspections on your own equipment as well as 3rd party inspections. ** Note: Some states require their own credentials for equipment inspection.
 
11.
How often does my equipment need to be inspected?
Equipment should be inspected frequently, periodically and annually as prescribed by current applicable standards and regulations.
 
12.
CICB inspected my equipment. When can I expect to receive my documentation?
From the time payment is received for services rendered, up to 15 business days.
 
13.
CICB found deficiencies when my equipment was inspected. I have made the corrections. What do I need to do?
Please fax (407) 275-6596 or email a copy of the deficiency corrections with the following: Letter must be on company letterhead or sent from a company email account, reference the date(s) of the inspection, equipment ID Number or Serial Number, the equipment manufacturer, the capacity and the corrections made. Include a work order and other supporting documentation if available.
 
14.
I have a question regarding an interpretation of a standard/regulation.
CICB will gladly assist customers with any questions/issues/interpretations regarding standards and compliance. Please call (800) 327-1386 or send your question to us via email.
15.
Does CICB offer financial aid or job placement assistance?
Not at this time.
 
16.
Does CICB sell books, videos or other training materials?
CICB provides books, videos and training materials as part of our product offering for customers participating in our training programs.
 
17.
How long is my NCCCO qualification card valid for?
NCCCO qualification cards are valid for (5) years.
 
18.
What do I need to do to re-qualify for my NCCCO license?
NCCCO requires that you take the written exams (ONLY) for your current qualifications. If your license has expired, NCCCO requires that you take and pass both the written and practical exams again, no exceptions.
 
19.
How long does it take to receive my scores for the NCCCO written and practical exams?
If you have tested at a CICB facility, you should be notified by your sales representative within 2-3 weeks of the test date. For candidates that have tested at another location, test results may take up to 6-8 weeks.
20.
How can I be approved as a written and/or practical exam NCCCO test site?
Specific requirements for each type of test site are available in the NCCCO Written Test Site and Practical Test Site Coordinator Handbooks. The handbooks are available for download on the Freebies page.
